Several organizations have lobbyist addressing their concerns (they say they’re representing the public and I say that lightly) regarding how thousands of US small business owners are manufacturing, private labeling, and distributing natural cosmetics and mineral makeup.

The major concern is the sanitary conditions these products are manufactured in.

I have to add my two cents because it’s my blog, but when was the last time the FDA inspected all the Chinese companies manufacturing products for US Cosmetics companies? (By the way most of the cosmetics sold in the US are manufactured in other countries, specifically Asian countries, because labor and materials are cheap.)  The lead in red lipstick was the last cosmetics ingredient scare, and had consumers in a frenzy, for what turned out to be a few lipstick colors and brands, not the masses of lipsticks colors/brands that was suggested by the complainant.

Granted, consumers that purchase cosmetics from other companies, to claim, or be called private label, can be unwise, due to the fact they generally do not have any idea how the their purchasing to sell under their name to the public are are manufactured.  The purchasers of wholesale bulk mineral makeup powders, skin care, and soaps have no idea what the facility these products are manufactured in looks like, how is it for sanitation, or if employees are wearing sanitary clothing with proper sterile working surfaces.

But, sad to say, as we have people contact us daily on private labeling for them. (We do not offer false private label mineral makeup or skin care.)  Sometimes those that want to be business owners or those that are forget what is important. (Not just making money, but making sure they are keeping others skin safe.)  I’ll leave that alone, as I could talk about it all day.  Our last visit to China regarding containers was scary, so we opted to purchase only from US vendors, and have been to facilities in NJ and California.  Both were clean to the core.

Ok, I’m rounding off topic, so it’s time for my lunch break to end.

Someone asked why they couldn’t log in or register for any of our mineral makeup reviews, or blogs and we’re refreshing content and data bases, and trying some new concepts, so at this moment it’s better we don’t have more posts to work with, but that will change really soon and you all can join in again.

The move went very smoothly and my friends and helpers at McAfee Secure and IX did a great deal of work for me since we here are busy with other things. So thank you guys and gals that work at IX and McAfee. Everyone can now see our site McAfee sticker as we, like bare mineral, Sheer Cover, and other major mineral makeup companies are part of the McAfee Seal of Security!

But… the mineral makeup blog suffered by being changed to another blog, our MineralMakeup blog. So let me see if I can redirect you all.
