We had the chance over the holiday’s to try many different mineral makeup brands and their products.

One of the many mineral makeup products we liked was Maybelline New York’s Mineral Powder Blush Illuminator in Nude.  According to the label this is an All-over sheer shimmer loose powder.  This means it’s a mineral makeup powder that can be used anywhere on the face, including lips.

We used our regular matte mineral foundation Colour ID Minerals by Raesin Images Natural Cosmetics first, than applied the Maybelline Mineral Powder Illuminator on cheeks and eyes.  The mineral power powder is very light, and easy to apply, and looked great as a nude blush on our fair to medium skin tones, and lasted throughout the day.

1.  Throw away the nasty mineral makeup kabuki brush, it could tear your delicate skin.  KabukiBrushes.com has a full line of discount kabuki brushes.

3.  Use on the lips too, we did, and applied a lipgloss over it.  A very nice makeup look.

Hi Everyone!  So Many of you have been asking for a synthetic flat top kabuki brush that we had one manufactured.  You all known how picky Kat is and this brush was fashioned to be a comparison to MAC Cosmetics Limited Edition Flat Top Kabuki brush.

Of course I have been using this brush for 2 weeks now and my mineral makeup review on it is:  It’s Fantastic!  I love how it smooths out my Colour ID minerals foundation in seconds, since sometimes we all get a bit to much powder on the brush or a pore or two.  lol  will show, this takes care of that and it worked great when I used it to apply our Matte Magic Finishing Powder.
