Mineral Makeup Reviews on Maybelline Mineral Power Blush Illuminator –

We had the chance over the holiday’s to try many different mineral makeup brands and their products.

One of the many mineral makeup products we liked was Maybelline New York’s Mineral Powder Blush Illuminator in Nude.  According to the label this is an All-over sheer shimmer loose powder.  This means it’s a mineral makeup powder that can be used anywhere on the face, including lips.

We used our regular matte mineral foundation Colour ID Minerals by Raesin Images Natural Cosmetics first, than applied the Maybelline Mineral Powder Illuminator on cheeks and eyes.  The mineral power powder is very light, and easy to apply, and looked great as a nude blush on our fair to medium skin tones, and lasted throughout the day.

1.  Throw away the nasty mineral makeup kabuki brush, it could tear your delicate skin.  KabukiBrushes.com has a full line of discount kabuki brushes.

2.  Don’t use this product in conjunction with other shiny mineral makeup foundation brands that contain mica, bismuth, or biron, you’ll have a greasy looking face. um ick.

3.  Use on the lips too, we did, and applied a lipgloss over it.  A very nice makeup look.
