Rae Kat Switzer
has recently achieved with departmental honors her Biochemistry
Degree, Kat has also managed retail for over 20 years
in the Cosmetic Industry Field. Her Freelance
Professional Makeup Artist, and Professional Image Consultant,
helped start her career in the Seattle Washington area.
In those 20
plus years Kat never located the correct foundation
shade or product that worked for her or her models and
clients. As Kat states she was always mixing and
matching different shades and brands to produce a tone
that would work.
Kat then decided
to take her degree, expert knowledge and hands on experience
and start her own business RAESIN IMAGES. Started
in 1987 as a professional makeup artist, wedding and
professional consulting agency. Thus began the
the RAESIN IMAGES (Raising Images) business.

Hi Everyone!
I'm peri-menopausal,
isn't' that sweet. lol Have extremely oily
combination skin, very dark under eye circles, hyper-pigmentation,
and redness/rosacea and skin sensitivities like so many
women.
Being perimenopausal
I find find more problems with keeping my skin looking
it's best then I ever did before. I would have
never thought menopause would have crept into my life
at the age of 35, but it did and has, now I am 42, and
my skin is at it's worst and best on a daily basis.
I was recently informed the the average age for per
menopause is 32. 32! WOW, but it makes sense
as with all us working women, mothers, and home makers
working ourselves to the highest stress level ever,
it's no wonder we're chunky, out of shape with lack
of energy and our skin's health is rapidly declining
as is our own because of it all.
Finding a
foundation match for my own skin was an industry
joke. It had been nearly, or should I really say
completely, impossible. Nothing matched my natural
American Indian, Scandinavian heritage facial skin,
nor the color of my neck and shoulders as is appropriate
when matching base foundation make up color. The
result was usually an unnatural look, like I was wearing
a mask or worse looked like a made up past face because
of wearing foundation makeup that was either incorrect
in coloring, or not pigmented enough to high superficial
flaws, thus doing the Revlon Colorstay thing.
Ick! That's chemically the same as wearing latex
paint on the face.
Women don't
feel bad, you're not alone, and your skin color DOES
and IS changing on a daily basis. Hormone, environmental,
skin care products, makeup, water, laundry soap, stress,
food, nearly everything plays a part in your skins behavior.
Reading
ingredient labels scared me, but made me realize that
women of all ages needed a change and RIGHT NOW!!
Hence the
coined phrase RAESIN IMAGES "Minerals That ROCK!™"
Mineral Makeup, Cream Natural Mineral Cosmetics & Natural
Skin Care was founded. RAESIN IMAGES Cosmetics
was kept under private label wraps for several years,
selling only to physicians offices, salons, and private
small retail stores. This was so my professional makeup
artist staff and I would still be able to do hands on
professional makeup artist and wedding/image consultant
pageantry work.
With support
from family, friends, a great chemical analyst, and
dermatologist friends I worked on formulating mineral
make up foundation shades, and skin care formulas that
were anti-aging, skin resolving, and enhanced women's
skins texture and appearance. Matching skin color tones
and types, adding only beneficial, healthy, natural
ingredients in all our RAESIN IMAGES products. Products
that contain minerals, essential oils, butters, waxes,
nothing chemically harsh.
My skin, as
well as my families, friends models/clients and anyone
who would allow me to test my new products on.
Now my rosacea and adult acne is gone and it's never
been an issue since.
What more
would any woman ask for but natural, glowing, beauty
inside and out.

Data Sheet (MSDS) warns that excessive use of Propylene
Glycol, Bismuth, Methylparaben, Talc, FD & C coloring
agents, (also known as lakes), and other ingredients
that are found in commercially made cosmetic products,
as well as certain food products throughout the world.
Recent studies
have shown adverse affects such as toxicity to human
cells (Cancer) in studied cultures, including contact
dermatitis (cystic acne), and liver and/or kidney damage,
just to name a few.
